Air Filters

AMSOIL Ea Air Filters

AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are the most efficient filters available to the car/light truck market. Ea Air Filters’ synthetic nanofiber media removes 5 times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than wet gauze filter media. AMSOIL Ea Air Filters have a service life of 100,000 miles or four years, whichever comes first.

POWERCORE AIR FILTERS

AMSOIL now offers premium air filters that utilize PowerCore™ filtration technology for Ford 6.0L Diesel PowerStroke™ and GM H2 Hummer 6.0L Vortec™ applications. The rugged structure of PowerCore™ filters features an innovative, layered, fluted filter media, which allows air to enter an open flute while forcing it out an adjacent flute, allowing only clean air into the engine. Dirty air is effectively filtered and cleaned in only one pass through the media.

Ea AIR INDUCTION FILTERS

AMSOIL now offers universal air induction filters (EaAU) designed to replace stock oil wetted gauze or foam conical filters that were supplied with custom induction systems. AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters offer better efficiency, excellent airflow and are cleanable.

The basic purpose of the air intake system is to bring cool air from outside the engine compartment into the engine. The cooler air is denser than the air found within the hot engine compartment. The denser charge contains more oxygen than warmer air, providing better combustion through a more effective air/fuel mixture.

Ea Pre-Filters

AMSOIL now offers Ea Pre-Filters (EaPF) for racing and off-road applications. AMSOIL Ea Pre-Filters prevent large particles from sticking to EaAR and EaAU Filters and blocking the flow of air.

AMSOIL Ea Pre-Filters are constructed with woven mesh that contains uniformly-sized openings. They are oil-free, so the dirt will not stick to the bag and create a loss of air flow and horsepower. Several Ea Pre-Filters are treated with a hydrophobic water repellent process that helps prevent moisture from damaging air filters. This proprietary process is done at the mill as the pre-filters are created, not sprayed on, so there is no loss of air flow. While Ea Pre-Filters are effective in repelling water, they are not waterproof.

Ea Pre-Filters prevent particles down to 0.005” from getting to the air filter without significantly reducing air flow. Particles larger than 0.005” generally just fall off the pre-filter.

WIX Air Filters

WIX is well-known around the world for its innovative filtration products for the automotive and light truck market. Founded in 1939, the Gastonia, N.C., company earned acclaim during World War II when it created an oil filter out of a paper tube, wooden plugs and yarn when steel was in short supply. In 1954 WIX created the revolutionary spin-on oil filter that was eventually adopted as original equipment on most vehicles.

Today WIX manufactures some of the best oil, air, lube, cabin air, hydraulic, fuel, crank case breather and transmission filtration products on the market. The company is also widely known for its support of NASCAR. more information

AMSOIL now offers Diesel Cold Air Intake Systems.

AMSOIL now offers the Injen/AMSOIL Power-Flow Diesel Air Intake series with revolutionary Variable Induction Technology. The new VI Technology process is a multipower air induction system that fills the plenum with air, giving added power on demand. The Power Box on the Diesel series is manufactured using a composite mix of glass-filled nylon and polypropylene designed for noticeably quiet operation. The Power Box was designed for advanced cooling efficiency and the ability to resist high temperatures. It will not distort, unlike other plastic components that lose their structural integrity over time. This ground-breaking material makes it possible for the integration of a built-in velocity stack that streamlines the air turbulence into the plenum air chamber by way of the multi-power induction system. Injen/AMSOIL Diesel Air Intake Systems are manufactured with aerospace alloy T6 aluminum, stainless steel clamps and tig-welded ports and brackets. They are dyno-tuned for peak performance and have a direct bolt in application, making installation quick and easy.

The addition of AMSOIL Ea Air Filters to these high-quality intake systems ensures the ultimate in protection and performance. Injen recognized the unsurpassed quality of AMSOIL Ea Air Filters and sought partnership with AMSOIL in order to make the best product possible.
